Pakistan Grestest Airport-Karachi Airport

Pakistan's largest international and domestic airport. The airport is named after Crown attorney/statesman Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan and its first Governor General, who was popularly known as the Quaid-e-Azam ("Great Leader").

The airport provides primary hub for the flag carrier, PIA, Shaheen Air International, and Airblue as well as many other private airlines. The airport is equipped with aircraft engineering and overhauling facilities including the Ispahani Hangar for wide-body aircraft.
During the 1940s there was a large black coloured hangar (also locally known as Kala Chapra) at the site of Karachi Airport, constructed for the British R101 Airship. Only three hangars were ever built in the world to dock and hangar the R101 airships. However, the R101 airship never arrived in Karachi (then part of the British Raj) as it crashed early in its journey in France. This hangar was so huge that aircraft often used it as a visual marker while attempting VFR landings at Karachi. Over the years, the hangar became known as the landmark of Karachi, until it was torn down by order of then-President Ayub Khan in the 1960s.

Landi Kotal-Pakistan

Landi Kotal is a tourist spot in FATA.Landi Kotal was the westernmost part of the Khyber held by the British during their rule of the subcontinent.In 1897 the Afridis attacked Landi Kotal and other posts in the Khyber Pass. Although the Khyber Rifles put up a stiff defence, Landi Kotal was overrun, as the Rifles lacked water^. The British counter-attacked with a force of 34,500 men under Sir William Lockhart, defeating the Afridis. Although Afridis took the town again during the second Anglo-Afghan War.
Landi Kotal is the main shopping centre for both the Shinwari and Afridi tribes.

Churchill Picket-A Sign Of British Rule

A great tourists attraction close to the Chakdara Fort, a picket crowns the hillock towards the west. This is known as the Churchill Picket because Winston Churchill came here during the Pathan Revolt of 1879.
While traveling on Malakand-Saidu Sharif Road, one cannot miss the impressive Churchill Picket of 1897 on a hillock above Chakdarra Fort. Winston Churchill came here in 1897, as a war correspondent for the Allahabad Pioneer and Daily Telegraph. He used to signal his messages from this spot to Malakand and onwards by Helio and that is why the picket is also known as "Shisho Picket". The present picket was constructed by the British and commands the area around.

Manshera-A Beautiful Place

Manshera is a tourists spot in Khyber PukhtunKhwa(KPK) Pakistan.Thousands of people visit this area in summer due to its beautiful attractions.It is very near to Abbottabad city. It is a major stop for tourists on the Karakoram Highway which leads to China.Alexander the Great conquered and established his rule over a large part of northern India, including the Mansehra area. In the year 327 B.C. Alexander handed the area over to the Indian king Abisares.
During British rule, Mansehra was still a village; its population according to the 1901 census was 5,087.During the British period Mansehra was the headquarters of Mansehra Tehsil, then a subdivision of Hazara District.

It is a historical place also because it was under british rule.When the Muslim League in Pakistan started its movement for a separate land, the local people joined and struggled for liberation under the leadership of Quaid-i-Azam. Their eventual victory culminated in the creation of Pakistan, an independent state for the Muslims of the sub-continent.It is a very beautiful spot to visit & also a paradise for tourists.
